I am so excited about our Fitness Tuesday. I have been thinking about it for quite a while, but I can't believe we are actually doing it. I believe it's great we are doing it together, that should be a real drive for us all.
So what exercises have you done in the last week?
I suggest doing the following exercises every day until next Tuesday. It will not take you long, you don't have to do them all at once. If you feel comfortable doing more, do it, if you feel you might need to do less, don't worry, do less this week and do more the week after. I am not a fitness instructor, I am here to encourage you to do some exercises to get fitter and hope you will be there for me too.
I suggest doing the following for the next week:

I suggest doing the following for the next week:
- 25 sit ups (towards both knees)
- 25 sit ups (touching your left knee)
- 25 sit ups (touching your right knee)
- 10 push ups
- skipping for 30 seconds (roughly 1 turn per second)
If you haven't got a skipping rope, please invest in one. Skipping is really a great way to improve your fitness.
So what do you think? If you have any comments, suggestions or questions, please let me know.
Don't forget to come back next Tuesday afternoon and add a link to your comment on how it went and please visit as many of the others' posts as you can. We are here to help each other. Can't wait to see all your comments ;)

This is a great idea - I am on a fitness drive and have got Ted who's 8 to act as my personal trainer. Helps his counting and we have a right royal laugh. Laughter should count as an excerise - certainly helps my pelvic floor! Great idea. Love it!
ReplyDeleteThat's an interesting idea, I might do the same with my Isabelle, but I am not sure the counting will be correct as she is just over 3 years ;)))
ReplyDeleteSorry I've not posted a link yet... will get round to it soon.
ReplyDeleteMy progress so far: 1 run/walk and 32 mins on Wii Fit... not bad for me :)
No worries, well done with your running ;)
ReplyDeleteOoh sounds like a plan.
ReplyDeleteTuesday is tomorrow isn't it....
