This week's gallery theme is NATURE. I have to admit I love taking pictures of plants and flowers, and have always been interested in botany. When I studied biology at grammar school, I knew so much about so many of the plants, learnt the Latin names, structure, growth, reproduction, metabolism, development. I always had an excellent mark from this subject. Then I decided to study to become a language teacher. Don't ask me what I remember from my botanical studies now...

Well I would love to find a beautiful butterfly like that in my garden :-)
ReplyDeleteYour floral photos are stunning just lovely. Damn I am never going to get that hamper! Lol (just aawell with #mummyto5k)
What a beautiful butterfly :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the latin names - well to me I tend to go by colour as in red flower, yellow flower, blue flower :)
Your little girl is SOOO adorable! What a gorgeous smile. What a gorgeous butterfly :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the flowers, they are beautiful. Don't know what they are all called, so can't say which one I like best (the one above the rose!)

ReplyDeleteYour little girl is so adorable. Lovely flower pics. I wish I even knew the common names of flowers let alone the latin ones! Will have to get a book so Evie and I can learn together when she's a bit bigger.
ReplyDeleteSuch a beautiful little flutterby you have there! And those other pictures are wonderful, too. I am so useless at identifying plants and flowers!
