Before our holiday I thought it would be maybe too long, but I think it will never be too long. Especially for Isabelle. She had to say goodbye to her cousins, uncle and aunt yesterday and she was so upset, crying and didn't want them to go. What can I say? She was even saying she didn't want to go back to London. The only thing that helped was telling her her daddy was waiting for us in London and that she would be starting pre school in September.
She is OK now, but I'm sure there will be a big drama at the airport tomorrow. My mum always cries a lot and we all get upset. It's very important to have your family around and if they live close to you, you are very lucky. I know it's not that far (at least it's much closer then when we lived in Sydney) and we come and see them quite often, but it's not the same.

You know what you are so right, we relocated back to the NE of England to be able to bring the boys up with their extended family. They adore their two cousins and have just gone out for the afternoon with my Bro and SIL. We are very lucky. Iz looks adorable
