After more than a week being back from our fantastic holiday in Barbados, I finally have a bit of time to tell you more about it. Some of you have read about the start of our holiday, which wasn't fantastic, but that's all behind us and now I would love to tell you more about our great holiday!
After being picked up at the airport, we were taken by a taxi to our hotel. We were exhausted, hungry and the only thing we wanted was just to check in , have a shower and something to eat. After about 5 minutes we were taken to our one bedroom ocean view suite. When we entered I loved the place straight away. Looked very clean, modern and so much space in the wardrobes! We even had 2 bathrooms! Anyway here are a few pics form there:
We left the suitcases and went to have some food as we were starving. After a few club sandwiches we went for a walk by the sea. It was beautiful, but as it was just one day after the storm, the beaches were not that clean, there were palm trees, dead fish and sea weed. After our walk we decided to have our first cocktails, I had my favourite lemon margarita and daddy had a pina colada. I can tell you know that the amount of cocktails we consumed on this holiday would probably fill up the whole bath! Anyway, the place is lovely, the staff were really helpful and I would recommend it to anyone, even families with kids. We didn't test the pools, as we loved the sea, but there were a few kids who enjoyed playing there. There is also a cave bar by one of the pools, to which you can swim and have your drink over there!
And how did I come across this place? I did a lot of research, and finished up on "tripadvisor". It was highly rated there, but I needed someone real to confirm it was really as good as it said on the website. Thanks to twitter I had the answer. One of my mummy twittering friends was there and recommended it, so I booked it. To find out more about our holidays in Barbados don't forget to come back!

Its beautiful - incredibly jealous of your break! Sounds like it was lots of fun
