Maclaren Nursery by David Netto launching at Harrods!

Last Saturday morning we headed to Harrods to check out the new Maclaren nursery range designed by David Netto. Luckily there were no problems on the tube and we arrived just in time for our 2pm appointment with this famous designer. While daddy and Isabelle were wondering around and exploring all the nursery furniture, I was talking to David.

I was a bit nervous at first, but I soon realised, there was no need for it as he is a very down to Earth and charming person. He told me his story about how he had noticed that there were no modern and luxury nursery designs around when his first child was born. When you check out my short video that I shot at the launch, I am sure you will agree that his nursery collections  definitely offer both!

And what did I think of it? I LOVED the "moderne" collection, the combination of dark brown and white just looked gorgeous. It is true that all the products are a bit pricey, but then as he said they are designed to last and grow with the needs of your child! I love the idea of the changing cabinet, which can be transformed into a normal cabinet after detaching the changing tray. Doesn't that sound like you are getting 2 pieces of furniture for the price of one? Or what about the crib that can be transformed into a day bed? You can see that he is a parent himself, as he had thought of everything, all these side drawers and hidden drawers for storage! If you are after some chic nursery furniture, than head over to Harrods to check it out!

David also created a beautiful wooden animal puzzle,
which Isabelle loved playing with.

If you love Maclaren as much as I do, you will be very pleased to know I will be running a Maclaren giveaway competition very soon, so don't forget to come back and check it out!
