Here Comes the Poo Bus - Book Review!

When I was sent an e-mail from a PR, that "Here comes the poo bus" was on its way to us, I didn't know what to think about it. I am not even sure, if I came across this title in a bookshop, I would check it out. When the book arrived, I showed it to daddy, and he was the first one to read it and said he thought it was funny and that Isabelle will like it.

When I showed her the book and told her the title of it, she started laughing and asked me if I really meant a "poo" bus. We read it just before she went for bed, not sure if many people can imagine reading it as a bedtime story, but she loves it and we have to read it to her every night since then...

And what is it about? It's about Uncle Toad who is very friendly as he collects the insects for a special trip on his bus of poo, but it's just a cunning ruse. When they reach the seaside, he eats them all! It's a darkly comic and anarchic rhyming tale by Andy Stanton, which am sure, every kid will love! We also admired the fantastic "poo" illustrations by Noëlle Davies-Brock. Check it out, it should be available soon!
