A Girls Night Out!

More than 3 weeks ago, I drove to St Albans to catch up with my mummy blogging friends. It was a very special night, it was a night when we had a group of people running around us and making us all look stunning! As daddy was away on a work conference in Brighton, I had to bring Isabelle with me, but luckily one of my friends' husband was so kind and was babysitting that evening.

I cannot tell you how exciting this was. I have had a professional make-up done once before for a photo shoot for a magazine which unfortunately has never been published, but that didn't make it less special for me. I was sitting down, drinking champagne and relaxing, while one of the beauticians was making my face look stunning. It didn't take her long, obviously it's her job. It was completely different to what I am used to, but I really loved it. Then I was chosen to have my hair done. You all know me with my straight hair, and until a few months ago, I had a fringe, which I have decided to grow again. This time the hairdresser went for the curly version, and I can tell you I looooved what I was looking at in the mirror reflection. I wish I had my hair done like that for my wedding... Anyway, the last thing I had done were my nails. The lady who was doing them, has told me that I have really nice nails and couldn't believe I have never had my nails done or have never had false/gel/etc nails before... maybe that's why they are in such a great condition? I don't know, but very often people cannot believe my nails are mine, and not artificial. I am just lucky.

After being spoiled by absolutely fantastic staff of Beautylase, we headed with a gorgeous goodies bag to a nearby pub for a drink and then for some pizza. That night we talked about everything, not just kids and our mums' life, which is definitely needed at least sometimes. Unfortunately, most of my pictures from that night are very blur... someone must have changed the settings while taking some shots of me with my SLR camera....so I am giving you this:

Beautylase, thank you for such a great evening!
